What is a PupSite?
PupSites are Foxbright's take on a specialized landing page, or splash page. With a specific purpose or initiative in mind, PupSites can offer a unique design for use within and alongside a primary website design. Think: a site within a site. They typically have their own navigation and style to appear more independent than the original website design, but still within the district/organization's branding.
- PupSites can have their own unique domain (when provided) and behave as if they were an independent website, while being managed from the same website dashboard.
- PupSite templates can be customized with colors, features and interactivity.
- PupSites go through a similar design process as a full website where we meet with and apply client goals and design needs to the PupSite design of choice!
- PupSite templates can be used for anything - if you like the look of one design, sky's the limit on how it can be used!
- Once installed, PupSites can be re-used for other future initiatives, the design is permanently yours for any needs.
Blandford Pupsite (Bond Design)
Our most implemented PupSite design so far has been the Blandford design. Whether it be a bond, millage, sinking fund, or something else entirely, let's look at some of the existing Blandford installations!
The PupSites for Caro Community Schools, Hazel Park Schools, and Newaygo Public Schools were all launched for the May 7th, 2024 vote and are no longer available to link to as a live example, but we are happy to share how they looked! All using the Blandford design, the individual district branding and content choices provide uniqueness. CCS and HPS in particular, heavily used the news feature to highlight their proposed projects, while NPS leaned into video and visuals. Keep an eye on these districts as their PupSites may be resurfacing for a future purpose!

Saline Area Schools Bond Updates
Our friends at Saline Area Schools launched our first PupSite in 2023! Following their successful bond proposal from 2022, SAS wanted a pupsite to share ongoing updates and upgrades around their campus with their community. Using Spotlights to link to building project highlights, an interactive timeline, and a plethora of videos and other media, a screenshot does not do justice to the amount of information available from their bond updates PupSite. See it for yourself!
Grand Haven Area Public Schools Sinking Fund
Long-time partner Grand Haven Area Public Schools has a Sinking Fund proposal on the ballet for the August 6, 2024 vote. Just before school was let out for the summer, we put together the GHAPS Sinking Fund PupSite in record time, from design to launch in 1 week! The navigation offers a scrolling effect to anchors within the page content, while the Contact Us page is specially designed within the PupSite template. Featuring stylized Spotlights and a Millage Calculator, the GHAPS PupSite is as sharp as it is effective.
Muskegon ISD Careers + 3P PupSites
When it comes to collaboration and innovation, Muskegon ISD is always ahead of the curve. No surprise they jumped on the chance to launch 2 PupSites this year, with a 3rd in the pipeline (or should we say ... Pupline?) With the first launch of our Careers (Cape) design, MAISD shows why their organization is a great place to be! They also proved a great exception for the Blandford PupSite by thinking outside of the box and instead of using it for Bond purposes, created a captivating design to promote their 3P (Place, Project, and Problem-Based) Learning initiatives.
Holly Area Schools Strategic Plan 2030
This PupSite has no name! (yet)
Holly Area Schools came to us last year with a new design in mind for their Strategic Plan that follows the same concept as our other PupSite offerings! We loved the challenge of creating a brand new design using elements from HAS and adding some signature Foxbright twists to make another offering tailored for Strategic Plans!
Key feature of this design are vertical tab areas perfect for highlighting key goal and initiatives for strategic plans. While we haven't posted a demo version of this PupSite yet, we will be making a related template & we are happy to offer something similar for any partner looking to add some flair to their strategic planning. In fact, we're already working on another Strategic Plan PupSite so stay tuned for our next roundup to see who it's for!
