St. Robert Catholic Schools
When Lotus officially launched in October 2022, one of the first to implement the new design was St. Robert Catholic Schools.
One of the favorite new design elements of Lotus is the homepage. When visitors come to your website they want to be able to find the information they need quickly and easily. This is why the Lotus layout was designed with navigation in mind. You’ll find that all an organization’s key information can be organized and displayed in a minimal layout without sacrificing any brand aesthetic.
If you’ve spent any time managing a website, you know that half the battle is ensuring all your content is in the right place at the right time. Lotus uses a data driven process that automatically takes care of multi-content updates for you! For example, let’s say that you’re an ISD with 8 different buildings and you want your entire district community to know about an upcoming fund drive or to immediately know about snow day closures. Previously you’d have to go through the laborious and accident-prone process of updating every relevant page. But with this data-driven content system, you’re able to unite your messaging by automatically sharing it at the same time in the right places. Remember, it should feel like your machine is working for you, not the other way around! (at least until they take over the world… But then we’ll likely have bigger problems than uploading content.)
The fresh layouts are also full width and optimized for mobile users which means there’s less scrolling and more responsiveness for folks who need to grab their information on the go.
Foxbright designed Lotus with staff members in mind. The day-to-day website updates needed from teachers are easily done through an intuitive and personalized platform. While the overall control of the site remains in the hands of a qualified administrator. This hierarchy ensures that a school’s brand remains consistent and prevents any accidental user mistakes that could damage the site, while still empowering teachers to own and customize the way they’d like to share their classroom information.
Accessibility and ease are the name of the game, and Lotus is both fully ADA compliant and integrated with Google translate to guarantee that your new website is accessible and useful for all, regardless of ability or the language they speak.
With a slate of floating social media features to choose from and upgraded options for exciting photo and video galleries, Lotus makes it easier than ever for your organization to really shine. This new website template is ideal for small or medium schools and organizations that don’t need 500 different pages to click through. St. Robert Catholic School might be the first school to use this fresh new template, but it certainly won’t be the last!
