Notice for Newly Upgraded Sites
Most clients will have been upgraded to the new Iris release by the end of May. We have received positive feedback from those already upgraded with minimal issues - however the first use of an upgraded site can be finicky.
Please note these important tips to reduce issues:
- If editing is not working properly, please clear your cache the first time you login to the newly upgraded site.
- Linking to a file from the editor is failing on the first attempt after an upgrade. Simply close the link dialog and try again, the issue should go away.
- The rich text editor will now strip most embedded content, particularly embeds containing <div> tags. <iframes> are permitted. When editing a block with an embed, the embed may remove itself. These embeds should be added to the Embed type block, found under the 'Special' category of the block type selector. If you have an embed removed, 'cancel' the block and/or do not publish the page.
- If you need assistance retrieving the embed code to add to an embed block, contact [email protected]. Please include the URL to the page in question.
- While using the embed block is preferred, some embeds/iframes will still work in the rich text block if necessary. To add code to a rich text block's code, click the code view option in the editor:
- If you need assistance retrieving the embed code to add to an embed block, contact [email protected]. Please include the URL to the page in question.
